For her significant contributions to society, Tamika has been honored as one of Time 100’s Most Influential People, featured on Fortune’s list of the World’s Greatest Leaders, and received the Phoenix Award from the Congressional Black Caucus.

In 2021, Tamika authored her acclaimed book "STATE OF EMERGENCY: How We Win In The Country We Built," a title that captures the urgency of her powerful speech during the George Floyd protests in Minneapolis. Her unwavering commitment to truth, equity, and justice has inspired a new generation of activists and firmly established her as a leading voice in the fight for social change.
